What did you do TO / WITH / FOR your bike today!

Youngest child got off the training wheels about a week ago so nearly every day is daddy / daughter ride day. We’re both absolutely loving it.

Riding her 16” at the moment but she’s claimed her brothers old 18” bmx so that’s getting repainted pink.

On-One has been reborn again with some chromo bars and cheap cable discs I had lying around. Currently single speed but I’ll probably switch back to gears so it’s more versatile.

How good are those Fairdale bars?!
Don't worry about gears, you'll get your SS legs back!

I rode my on one inbred today. So much fun! I'll probably ride it again tomorrow.

Did you get a BMX stem too, or a shim to run a MTB stem with the Fairdale bars?

Running an On-One mtb stem. Have an old school set of Amoeba dh bars with shims so using that for now, and got another set of shims coming from aliexpress along with some bits and pieces to finish off the little ones “new” bmx.
 
Finally went out on the mountain bike yesterday!

But not on the trails, I had to go looking for our dog which we suspected had run away thanks my daughter leaving every door and gate open in the house/driveway. I rode 10km looking for the thing only to find out it had been sleeping in the shed and couldn't be arsed coming out when called. Little chunt.

Anyhoo, I got to add another 10km to my GCCA today so that's 537.5km for the month :)

And after spending a month on the gravel bike, 800mm bars feel proposterously wide, I'm seriously considering getting them cut down to 780mm.
