Thanks guys, looks like Buxton it is. Keen to check out Narbathong as well since its like next door. The DH track there is self shuttleable right? Is this track public?
Hope you enjoy it mate.

Was there this morning for an early one. Met a nice bloke 'Dave', who as it turns out can shred the hell out of his hard tail 27+ bike.
Absolutely bombs the cathedral flow trail at 3:45.

Possibly the best morning I've had at Buxton to date.

Looks sweet! Looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Hurts. Requires Money. And is nerdy.
Which is why only JK hits them! He's still young, he bounces.

That he's on an SB150 helps!
Did you guys hit the steep roller line on the left of that drop line? (Left going down trail)
One of my fav parts of that decent. The drops are fun and definitely quicker but that other lines a sphincter clincher for sure.

Steeeeeep and tech.

Rode the Marley trails today with a mate, me on the Tallboy with a last-legs Conti rear. I knew it was going flat but thought I could squeeze a ride in with perhaps pumping it up a few times.

Ended up being two CO2 canisters then the valve pulled out then a tube with a really short valve stem then managed to get the tube inflated then we could finish the ride.

I’ve thrown the old tyre in the bin now

Had a great day yesterday. First time at Buxton and we did the one loop with the Cathedral track tacked in. Trails there were flowy and fun.

Then we moved on to self shuttling the Narbethong downhill track for 2 runs. Wow what a gnarly track, we were basically dragging the brakes the whole way down but it was super fun.

Unfortunately one of the guys who is more beginner/intermediate wiped out 3 times, he was on a xc hardtail which didn't help haha. On the next run, I decided it would be best to give my dually to the third guy and I'll ride his xc hardtail. It was rough but still loads of fun.

Shame the video quality didn't turn out so great, seems like IG can be hit and miss with 1080p footage.

Just for a change of pace, I had a ride out at Eumeralla yesterday. Struggled on bigger climbs for some reason (like, more than usual, which is a lot), but managed to take another 14 seconds off Letterbox Escape, bringing my PR down to 9:53. 2nd overall for my weight class!

Also, I've lost 8 kg so far this year.
