Man that is really a professional outfit looking after those trails (club & ParksVic combined). It's the way things should be done.

Hows the trails looking, Anyone got some pictures before/after of the works?
Very interested to see how its progressing.

Is there a rough date for stockyards to be open?
(apparently lysty will be open over easter!)

Trail Work Pics

Just some pics of todays work at the You Yangs on the new track 14(Link Track).

This trail has been fully re-alligned from Stockyards car park to Sandy Creek car park due to storm damage we recieved from November through to January.

The trail will have a lot more flow to it with some extra length, fun ridden in either direction.

You Yangs VIC DH race CANCELLED

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond Parks Victoria’s, YYMTB and GMBC’s control we have no option but to cancel our VIC DHS race that was scheduled for May 14th & 15th. A huge thanks must go out to the Park Rangers and Trail Crew from YYMTB and GMBC for the massive amount of work they are still doing improving the trails. We will continue to post up photos showing even more of the improvements that have been done. Please respect that the park is closed and stay well away.

For those of you racing or thinking about racing in the VIC DH Series there are only 2 races left in the series now.
Yackandandah this weekend (16th – 17th April)
Shepparton 30th April – 1st May
You are quickly running out of opportunities to race so get along and be part of these races. Presentation day is on the 28th May at Long Gully

When the You Yangs re-open the tracks will be better than ever before. There will be huge celebrations which you will not want to miss.

BUMMER! Missing the Youies, was quietly looking forward to a roll out there over Easter! Look forward to checking out some of the new work done, and just getting back out there terrorising yowies again..

You Yangs VIC DH Series event – NEW VENUE

After many last minute phone calls and discussions You Yangs MTB Inc are pleased to announce that we have managed to move the event to MALDON (Mt Tarrengower). FREE camping is available. More details will be published next week. The event will be held on the 14th and 15th of MAY so lock these dates in your diary and get along to support the event.

See you all at Yack this weekend
